Job Description

The Counsellor role presents a unique chance to contribute to the well-being and growth of students. In this position, you will take the lead in engaging stakeholders for early intervention and assessment, promoting a preventative model of care.

About You

  • You must hold relevant post-graduate qualifications in psychology or counselling.

  • You need to possess expertise in personal, career, and educational counselling techniques, with a strong understanding of community welfare and mental health services and referral processes.
  • You should have experience working autonomously and collaboratively, setting priorities in dynamic environments, and providing counselling in educational or similar settings.
  • You must exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to connect with diverse student cohorts and stakeholders professionally.
  • You should be proficient in MS Office, online collaboration platforms, and career guidance tools, with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions and psychoeducational programs to support student needs.
