Leadership Opportunity in Childcare

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team. This is a part-time role (32 hours per week) with split shifts across Before School, After School, and Vacation Care.

You will support the delivery of a high-quality OSHC program aligned with Catholic values, ensuring compliance with all legislative, safeguarding, and NQF requirements. Strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Coordinator to deliver a safe, inclusive, and engaging program for children.
  • Assist with daily operations, risk management, and team development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or working towards (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
  • Current mandatory Child Protection Training, or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience working in OSHC, ideally with some leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS, and My Time Our Place framework.
