Job Title: Science Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Science Laboratory Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the resources of the Science Department are well-maintained and available for effective use by science teachers.

About the Role:
The Science Laboratory Technician will work closely with the Head of Science to organize and manage the resources of the Science Department. This includes maintaining laboratory equipment, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the department is equipped with the necessary materials to support teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working order
  • Order and manage supplies, including chemicals, reagents, and other materials
  • Develop and implement systems for organizing and managing departmental resources
  • Work collaboratively with science teachers to support teaching and learning

Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field (science, education, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
