**Position description**:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic part-time Laboratory Aide to join our vibrant Mater Laboratory, Crows Nest, NSW. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
Receiving and checking labelling of samples, data entry, packing samples to be sent away, scanning of request forms, separating samples, distributing samples to the various departments for analysis, answering phone enquiries, picking up samples from doctors’ surgeries and hospital wards, and any other tasks, as required by the Laboratory Manager.
Part-time shifts are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week, and participation in the weekend roster is mandatory.

Applicants currently studying Science at University are encouraged to apply, with possible progression to a scientific role in the laboratory when a position becomes available.
