The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and talented Marketing Assistant to support and drive the portfolio. The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or Commerce, and a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Assistant Brand Manager in an FMCG environment, preferably in the homecare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and drive the implementation of the 1-5 year strategic plan for the homecare portfolio.
  • Support the development and execution of brand plans.
  • Manage innovation ideation processes and New Product Development (NPD) programs, working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
  • Measure and monitor category and brand performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing communications programs across ATL (TVC, radio, OOH, etc.).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external advertising agencies, design agencies, market research, and packaging companies to support development and delivery of all projects and events.
  • Responsibility for the Morning Fresh website and its maintenance, including administration support, processing of invoice payments and accruals, and monthly reporting.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or Commerce.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Assistant Brand Manager in an FMCG environment, preferably in the homecare sector.
  • High level of attention to detail and love managing projects.
  • Experience with managing advertising/marketing and digital/social media plans, consumer activation programs, and project management with a focus on New Product Development.
