About the Role

Melba Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Ballarat. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the people we support lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement support plans based on the needs, preferences, and interests of the individuals we support.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
  • Aid individuals to participate in activities, such as social events, work, and appointments.
  • Promote personal choice and control for the individuals we support.
  • Administer medication and provide support with daily routines.
Requirements
  • A passion for enabling and working with people with disabilities.
  • Desire for meaningful work and ability to provide daily living support.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
