About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Melba Support Services in the Ballarat region. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead everyday lives of their choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement support plans based on the individual's needs, preferences, and interests.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
  • Aid individuals to participate in social events, work, and appointments.
  • Promote personal choice and control for the individual.
  • Administer medication as required.
Requirements
  • A passion for enabling and working with people with disabilities.
  • Desire for meaningful work and ability to provide daily living support.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
