Disability Support Professional

Melba Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis in the Ballarat region.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead happy and fulfilling lives. You will work alongside a committed and expert team to ensure that the people we support receive the highest quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Implement support plans based on the individual's needs, preferences, and interests.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
- Aid individuals to participate in activities, such as social events, work, and appointments.
- Promote personal choice and control for the individual.
- Administer medication, as required.
- A passion for enabling and working with people with disabilities.
- Desire for meaningful work and comfort in providing daily living support.
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A supportive and collaborative culture where your contributions make a real impact.
