Our company requires a highly skilled Automation Equipment Specialist to ensure equipment availability through continuous improvement in our Sydney facility.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team as an Automation Equipment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance on automation equipment, including conveyors and PLCs, and reacting quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve automation systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform regular checks and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures
  • Analyze problems and implement solutions to resolve issues efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business objectives

The ideal candidate will have experience with CMMS systems and maintaining/configuring bar code scanners. Experience working shifts in a 24/7 environment is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in automation equipment maintenance
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and bar code scanners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
