Field Service Technician

Metso Automation Equipment Specialist sought to perform and coordinate Field Service support on machines, spares, and wears, providing customers with technical services in conjunction with sales.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver hands-on service work on Metso Mineral Processing Analytical Equipment at various customer sites.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel.
  • Analyze equipment and machine component failures through technical evaluations.
  • Oversee projects on customer sites and ensure compliance with global and customer procedures.
  • Complete field machine inspections and escalate questions to Technical Support and Engineering.
  • Prepare site visit reports, time sheets, and expenses after each visit.
  • Support warranty processes and Root Cause Analysis where applicable.
  • Promote products and services to customers.
  • Identify equipment not in the installed base and trigger data input into CRM.

You will gain experience and training on other Metso products and services. You must be physically fit and able to pass random medical tests. A current motor vehicle license is also required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
