Product Portfolio Manager - Data and Automation

The Product Portfolio Manager - Data and Automation role is a key opportunity for an experienced professional to maximise commercial value from our automation and data product suite, and drive growth for the product group across all markets globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the business within markets by increasing revenue, new customers, penetration and off-the-shelf product innovations.
  • Develop product roadmaps based on customer input, market research and existing capabilities within the business.
  • Manage technical changes to products in consultation with the Engineering department.
  • Be the interface between Engineering and Product Managers, monitoring and analysing customer complaints.
  • Monitor trends and fault frequency rates, recommending solutions accordingly.
  • Understand product requirements and develop new product ideas through customer engagement.
  • Recommend product rationalisation.

Requirements:

  • A background in electrical, electronics, mechanical or engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of our products and their application.
  • Proven track record in customer engagement and market requirements.
  • Skills to produce timely, logically user-centric product documentation.
  • Proven success collaborating with development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Pronto and OnBase will be highly regarded).
