About the Opportunity

This role offers an exciting chance to support our National Quote to Cash Operations Manager in ensuring prices and pricing configurations are loaded accurately and timely, adhering to our pricing policies and governance. You will work closely with the pricing team on ad hoc data extraction and analysis, contributing to the development of tools and systems that leverage customer data to drive sales and improve margins.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing pricing strategies by loading prices and configurations in the system.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and adherence to governance procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement while maintaining up-to-date process maps and work instructions.
  • Collaborate across functions to develop tools and systems that utilize customer data, drive sales, and enhance margin.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy in product pricing.
  • Accurately calculate rebates according to contracts.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Teams or product-specific pricing personnel to ensure they understand how to determine the right price.
  • Manage the creation, change, and maintenance of 'additional customer data' (DPLs).
  • Maintain the regional 'standard products listing.'
  • Prominently keep necessary regional price documentation as controlled documents and issue amendments when required.

Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, IT, or statistical disciplines are highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in a similar pricing or support role is essential.
  • Experience in the construction industry is desirable.
  • High attention to detail with an ability to maintain an overview of the larger picture.
  • Able to prioritize work and work autonomously.
  • Capable of working within a dynamic environment, managing multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Able to maintain a professional attitude at all times, demonstrating respect and courtesy when interacting with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Effective communication skills, able to liaise clearly and effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Agile Customer Service mindset.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge and experience with G Suite, advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including the use of vlookups, pivots tables, and data cleansing.
