Cellar and Logistics Manager

At our esteemed organization, we seek an accomplished Cellar and Logistics Manager to lead the charge in ensuring seamless operations within our complex venues.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of organizational prowess, logistical acumen, and exceptional communication skills to effectively oversee cellar and dock operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage dock schedules to optimize workflow and prevent congestion.
  • Supervise a small team to deliver top-notch cellar and logistics services.
  • Oversee stock control, from ordering and receiving to rotation and storage.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and WHS protocols.
  • Coordinate daily interactions with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams.
  • Compile accurate records and reports to support operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics, cellar operations, or stock control (hospitality industry preferred).
  • A knack for coordination in shared or multi-tenant dock environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of communicating effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and relevant certifications.
  • Forklift competency or willingness to obtain.
  • RSA certification.

  • Experience with beer lines, gas, or postmix systems.
  • Scheduling/traffic flow management expertise.
  • Data analysis skills for reporting and forecasting.
