About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales Operations to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our sales and customer processes, tools, and strategies to ensure the sales team and wider business operate efficiently and effectively.

In this role, you will work closely with our sales team, marketing, finance, product, and customer success teams to align sales operations with other departments. You will be responsible for developing, refining, and documenting sales processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.

You will also be responsible for defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the sales team and operations. Additionally, you will design and administer sales compensation plans, including commissions, bonuses, and incentives, to motivate the sales team.

As a strategic thinker, you will identify training needs and work with sales enablement teams to ensure the sales team has the necessary skills and knowledge. You will also oversee the use and maintenance of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, refine, and document sales processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the sales team and operations.
  • Design and administer sales compensation plans, including commissions, bonuses, and incentives, to motivate the sales team.
  • Identify training needs and work with sales enablement teams to ensure the sales team has the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the use and maintenance of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales tools.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance the sales process and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Meet KPIs specifically related to completing administration tasks within an agreed time frame.
  • Identify, develop, and implement new or enhanced sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales operations professional with a strong background in sales contract management and effectiveness. You should have a proven track record of success in a similar role and be able to demonstrate your expertise in sales process optimization, sales compensation planning, and sales enablement.

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate customer and internal requirements into business system and process outputs.
