Job Title: Excavator Shutdown Supervisor

We are a leading provider of heavy earthmoving equipment solutions with over 50 years of experience in the mining and civil industries. Our extensive fleet operates across Australia, taking pride in our people, safety culture, and well-maintained equipment.

As a key services contractor for a prominent mine in Queensland, we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional communities. We seek an experienced Excavator Shutdown Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance and shutdown tasks for our Excavator fleet.

This hands-on role requires coordinating safe and cost-effective maintenance and shutdown of all equipment, including documentation and reporting. You will ensure maintenance and repairs meet safety, time, and quality requirements, accurately recording daily activities and maintenance tasks.

We need someone who can build and maintain strong working relationships, lead high-performing teams, and promote a positive safety culture within the team.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience supervising skilled tradespeople, ideally working with Liebherr machines, and holds a trade certificate in Mobile Plant Maintenance or equivalent.

You must have demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams and hold relevant certifications, such as Mining Supervisor - G1, G8, G9, and Carry out the Risk Management Process - G2.
