Research Associate Position

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate or Fellow to contribute to and conduct research inspired by real-world challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a project titled "Autonomously expanding biomaterials for engineering growing tissues" funded via an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake research under limited supervision to achieve project grant outcomes, focusing on the synthesis and engineering of polymer biomaterials.
- Design and perform a range of experiments to advance the project's objectives.
- Prepare or contribute to the preparation of refereed journal publications, conference papers, and seminar presentations.
- Undertake administrative duties associated with relevant research projects, as required.
- A postgraduate qualification in an appropriate Science or Engineering area relevant to the research area, or at least 2 years of experience working as a researcher.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated through written work and effective liaison with external partners, colleagues, and students.
- Ability to plan and execute testing and research with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a research team.
