Research Associate Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team at the University of New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the field of neuroscience, with a focus on brain mechanisms for risk and aversion in learning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in neuroscience, with a focus on brain mechanisms for risk and aversion in learning and decision-making
- Collaborate with research partners to design and implement research studies
- Contribute to the development of research activities and scholarly output
- Support the dissemination of research outcomes through publication in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations
- Participate in and/or present at conferences and/or workshops relevant to the project
- PhD in neuroscience, psychology, or related discipline
- Research experience in neuroscience, with a focus on brain mechanisms for risk and aversion in learning and decision-making
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision
- Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity
