Operations Leader Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Operations Leader. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the maintenance and management of golf course grounds and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in golf course maintenance and turf care, with strong knowledge of turfgrass species, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques. They will also be proficient in operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Operations Leader and will be responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and supervision of daily tasks related to turf care, landscaping, equipment maintenance, and staff coordination.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining high standards of quality and appearance for golf course grounds and facilities
  • Ensuring effective and efficient use of resources and personnel
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff members

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or a related field, and a Construction Induction (White Card). Proven experience in golf course maintenance and turf care is essential.
