Our company honors the lives of pets by providing cremation services. We are seeking a Cremator to fill this role.

About the Position

This is a casual position requiring work between Monday to Saturday, with occasional additional shifts to cover holidays and sickness. There is a possibility for this role to become permanent part-time.

  • Afternoon and evening shifts will be required.
  • The successful candidate will operate cremation equipment and process ashes.
  • They will perform maintenance and basic repairs to site equipment.
  • Assisting drivers with loading and unloading pets will also be a responsibility.
  • Additionally, yard maintenance duties will need to be carried out as needed.

The position involves some heavy lifting and operating machinery, but full training will be provided in these areas.

Requirements
  • A flexible and positive work ethic, prioritizing pets and clients, is essential.
  • Living within a reasonable distance of Lonsdale is also a requirement.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, combined with a love for animals, is crucial.
  • Experience with safe lifting procedures up to 25kg is necessary.
  • Physical fitness and motivation to take responsibility are vital.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a tight team is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail is necessary.
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and pride in one's work are key attributes.
  • Being an organized and neat worker who is committed to keeping the premises clean and tidy is essential.
