Pet Cremation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pet Cremation Specialist to join our team in Australia. As a valued member of our staff, you will operate specialized equipment in a unique and personally rewarding industry.

Our expert teams provide respectful and caring services for pets and their families. We partner with both veterinarian practices and clients to offer pet cremation services to grieving families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery operations by assisting drivers with the safe unloading of pets.
  • Organize and manage the sorting of delivered pets into designated cool rooms.
  • Expertly manage both private and communal cremations.
  • Accurately mill and prepare ashes with meticulous attention to detail and care.
  • Provide professional and compassionate client greetings at the crematorium for viewings.
  • Collect pets from veterinary clinics and client's homes, and ensure timely delivery of ashes to designated locations (as required).

About You:

  • Ability to work within a high temperature environment.
  • Technical appreciation of industrial equipment and experience handling power tools.
  • Sound technical / computer appreciation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, you're an effective and clear communicator.
  • An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Capable to lift pets of all sizes using safe lifting procedures. Requires ability to lift up to 25kg.
  • Required to hold a current driver's license.
