Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive hourly rate of $29.06-$32.56 + 11.5% superannuation, plus a travel allowance of $0.92 per km. Additional benefits include fully supported and paid induction program, cultural training, well-being leave days, fitness passport, novated leasing, equipment provided, and 14 weeks paid parental leave.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation. You will also accompany our clients to their doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings. Experienced applicants may be involved in personal care duties including showering, feeding, and toileting, as well as assisting with oral medication.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A current Australian driver's licence and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle are essential.
- You must be vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 doses) and reside within a 15-20km radius of the work area.
- Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker, Assistant in Nursing, Caregiver, Aged Care Support Worker, or Community Services Worker is desirable but not necessary.
- Able to provide safe manual handling and driver awareness.
- Manual Handling, Driver Awareness, Social Interactions & ongoing training & support.
