Job Title: Casual VE Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Vocational Education (VE) teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and assessment, as well as experience working with students in aged care and disability services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality course material and assess student performance in Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability Services, and Diploma of Leadership in Disability Services.
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and development of program content, teaching methods, and assessment approaches.
  • Maintain up-to-date vocational competence that meets or exceeds the educational level being delivered and assessed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognized qualification in TAE40116 or TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent; or higher-level adult education qualification.
  • Current industry experience in aged care and disability services.
  • PCA, EN, RN, and Disability or relevant qualifications.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in Vocational Education is highly desirable.
  • Hold an Employee Working with Children card (Victoria).
