Youth Support Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Youth Support Officer to join our PCYC Project Booyah initiative based at Toowoomba. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in re-engaging young people in their education and transition to the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of youth programs and services
- Provide support and guidance to young people in their education and transition to the workforce
- Work collaboratively with the Project Booyah State Coordinator and other stakeholders to achieve program goals
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive environment for young people
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as community services, youth work, or education
- Demonstrated experience in youth programs and youth support/case management
- Hold a current drivers' licence or a light rigid driver's licence, and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
