Career Development Coordinator for Youth Services

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest charities, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of people in need. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Drive for Life Program Coordinator.
This full-time role will involve coordinating all aspects of the Drive for Life Program, which aims to support young people aged 16-25 in achieving their driver's license. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with community partners, stakeholders, and clients to provide tailored support and ensure the program's success.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the Drive for Life Program, including recruiting and screening suitable clients, organizing driving lessons, and developing a coordinated response to meet each young person's needs.
- Build relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to support the program's delivery and growth.
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized plans to support young people in achieving their goals, including education, employment, and health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to program delivery, analyzing results to inform future service improvements.
- Tertiary education in Business Administration or Information Technology, or significant relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of community services and health sectors, including experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- A current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate, with a willingness to obtain additional qualifications as required.
