Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Supervisor to join Service Stream based out in multiple locations across Brisbane.

About the Role

Service Stream's Telecommunications division are seeking energetic and experienced Field Supervisors to work on our Service Excellence contract. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the Brisbane area, reporting directly to the Field Service Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of subcontractors and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is conducted at each site in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to assist technicians and IWF safely achieve project delivery KPIs and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the construction/maintenance of NBN networks.
  • Support the Field Service Manager in planning and executing all requirements for clients.
  • Liaise closely with NBN field staff and/or middle management.
  • Possess a high level of organisational skills to achieve production targets.
  • Be effective with time management and prioritise critical issues.
  • Possess suitable negotiation and communication skills to resolve work-based and stakeholder issues diplomatically.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and understanding of commercial processes.
  • Allocate supervision resources to meet program requirements.
  • E nsure all SLAs/OLAs/KPIs are met.
About You
  • Previous working experience in Telecommunications Network Construction environment leading NBN and Telstra field operations.
  • Possess expert knowledge for the delivery and maintenance of large-scale construction projects.
  • Understand materials/component identification and supply chain flows across all technologies.
  • Ability to resolve day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems effectively.
  • Have autonomy and independent judgement, with key working relationships with the client's regional teams.
