Job Summary:

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to join their team based in multiple locations across Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of subcontractors and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is conducted safely and effectively.

About the Role:

  • Provide leadership and direction to assist technicians and IWF in safely achieving project delivery KPIs and meeting customer expectations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the construction and maintenance of NBN networks.
  • Support the Field Service Manager in planning and executing all requirements for the client.
  • Liaise closely with NBN field staff and/or middle management, attending meetings and site inspections.
  • Possess a high level of organisational skills to achieve production targets, with effective time management and prioritisation of critical issues.
  • Develop suitable negotiation and communication skills to ensure diplomatic resolution of work-based and stakeholder issues.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and understanding of commercial processes.
  • Allocate supervision resources to meet program requirements.
  • Ensure all SLAs/OLAs/KPIs are met.

About You:

  • Previous working experience in telecommunications network construction environments leading NBN and Telstra field operations.
  • Expert knowledge of delivering and maintaining large-scale construction.
  • Understanding of materials and component identification and supply chain flows across all technologies.
  • Ability to resolve day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement.
