**Key Responsibilities**

  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure compatibility of staff with participants, considering skills and lifestyle preferences.
  • Develop rosters for services that meet legislative requirements, staff availability, client needs, and funding limitations, including NDIS, DHHS, and TCP clients.
  • Provide a central point of contact for vacancy management.
  • Manage the allocation of shifts to ensure ongoing engagement of casual staff.
  • Interpret relevant industrial instruments when developing rosters, scheduling within budget parameters, and ensuring compliance with relevant awards.
  • Manage staff leave and ensure timely backfill.

**Requirements**

  • Understanding of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS) - Mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, rostering/scheduling/workforce planning in the community services, not-for-profit, or healthcare sectors.
  • Experience using rostering systems/platforms.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using the Microsoft suite of systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail and accuracy.
