About the Role

Melbourne & Olympic Park is seeking a skilled Workforce Operations Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the planning, delivery, and coordination of our event workforce.

Reporting to the Workforce Planning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our event workforce, which consists of over 800 customer service, security, and operations team members. Your primary focus will be on workforce scheduling, event day workforce operations, and workforce development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective workforce scheduling strategies to ensure adequate support for our venues and events.
  • Manage event day workforce operations, ensuring that all team members are checked in, equipped, and set up to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support key workforce development projects, including recruitment, learning and development, equipment management, and policy development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
