Pool Operations Manager

Job Overview
A seasoned and professional manager is required to lead the swimming pool as part of a partnership with local authorities.
The successful candidate will be fully accountable for operational, financial and program deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have high-level performance coaching abilities and experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include leading aquatic operations, financial management, staff recruitment and safety; developing relationships with the community and other stakeholders to drive overall success through people development.

You will be a true leader who can share insights into how you have shaped team performance and articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.
Skill and Experience Requirements
Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Demonstrated experience leading a complex business operation, preferably in the leisure industry or hospitality.
Desirable Qualifications
Previous experience (2 to 5 years) in an aquatic or leisure leadership role.
Qualifications in Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, Working with Children is preferred, though can be arranged for a highly desirable candidate.
