Pool operations manager role available at Queens Park Outdoor Pool. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the safety, evacuation and operation of the entire centre.

The primary responsibility of this role is to direct day to day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.

This role will include lifeguarding on pool deck during shifts.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures
  • Demonstrated experience of plant room management and pool operations
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate

Prior experience as a pool lifeguard is essential for this role. Additionally, experience in managing pool operations is highly regarded.

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven individual who can provide excellent customer service and work independently.
