About the Role:

Winchelsea Pool seeks a Team Leader to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for the community.

This includes leading daily operations, supporting staff, and maintaining pool facilities. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service focus, and the ability to inspire their team.

  • Lead daily operations and support staff in maintaining a safe environment
  • Maintain the pool's facilities, including equipment and plant systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to aquatic facilities
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and experience
  • Supervise lifeguards and other pool staff

Your Key Responsibilities:

The Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Leading daily operations, managing rosters, maintenance, and daily tasks
  • Maintaining the pool's facilities, including equipment and plant systems
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies related to aquatic facilities
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and experience
  • Providing guidance and supervision to lifeguards and other pool staff

Selection Criteria:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Possession of pool lifeguard certification
  • HLTAID011 first aid qualification
  • Oxygen equipment award
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and maintain pool plant and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply regulations and policies related to aquatic facilities
