Senior Cultural Safety Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Executive Officer. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about culture and cultural safety.
About the Role:- This position will provide high-level support, including preparation and writing of quality briefing material and talking points, reports, presentations, submissions, and other correspondence relating to culture and cultural safety.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' voices, experiences, and perspectives in key work and initiatives.
- They will engage in research and projects around culture and safety, and undertake other agency-wide tasks, as directed.
- This role involves mentoring staff and setting the tone for a strong, inclusive, and diverse culture through the highest levels of integrity.
- Coordinate staff effectively to achieve organisational goals.
- Assist in developing new policies that promote culture and cultural safety.
- Maintain effective client relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and strong organisational skills to drive results.
- This role offers the opportunity to work at Executive Level within the APS.
