Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance and Risk Professional to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high-quality governance and risk systems that support effective decision-making across our operations.

The primary accountability of this role is to drive a culture of best practice in corporate governance and risk knowledge sharing. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective relationships, ensuring the organization meets regulatory requirements in relation to corporate and clinical quality management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation, monitoring, and review of the Quality Strategy, Quality and Governance Framework, and Quality plans in line with our objectives.
  • Develop and deliver quality scorecards/dashboards by working with frontline clinical staff to develop appropriate quality metrics and indicators to promote continuous improvement in the quality of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and national guidance on quality improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and information on matters relating to quality and compliance.

Requirements:

  • A Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Aged Care industry, relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, and governance.
  • A comprehensive understanding of aged care standards and frameworks.
