Job Title: Risk and Governance Professional
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced risk professional to join our team as a Risk and Governance Consultant. This is a key role in evaluating and managing risks across business units, identifying business ownership, and supporting remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate risks using a risk matrix and identify business ownership, confirm acceptance, and manage stakeholders.
- Maintain a risk register and participate in regular risk meetings.
- Prepare risk reports for senior management and collate closure documentation.
- Collaborate with the risk group to reflect business risks and maintain accountability.
- Manage regulatory notices, maintain version control, and engage with external bodies.
- Handle internal risks and non-compliance issues and support risk remediation activities involving financial reporting impacts.
Requirements include proven experience in credit risk management and remediation, excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and strong engagement with various business areas.
You will also perform annual audits and compliance checks on policies such as identity verification, credit management, and financial hardship, link SOPs and controls to policies, and maintain a central library of audits and assessments.
