Job Opportunity

This role plays a vital part in enhancing the efficiency and transparency of contract management and procurement practices within the organization.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and administering contracts, including material processing, transport, minor works, service and maintenance, and replacement plant hire agreements;
  • Developing and implementing measures to support the organization's sustainability goals;
  • Preparing and administering project/contract documentation, including briefs, specifications, and contracts;
  • Coordinating contract administration meetings with external contractors and internal service providers;
  • Managing correspondence and record keeping related to administered contracts;
  • Monitoring and reporting on adopted budgets for projects, services, and individual contracts;
  • Liaising with relevant staff, consultants, contractors, state government agencies, and authorities as necessary;
  • Staying up to date with technological, legislative, and other changes affecting the operations and responsibilities of the organization's Resource Recovery and Waste Service;
  • Investigating and reporting on funding for projects related to Resource Recovery and Waste Services & asset management;
  • Representing the organization at internal and external meetings and functions as required;
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to Customer Service Requests as required;
