
Senior Contract Specialist

This role plays a vital part in enhancing the efficiency and transparency of contract management and procurement practices within the organization.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Supervising and administering contracts, including material processing, transport, minor works, service and maintenance, and replacement plant hire agreements;
- Developing and implementing measures to support the organization's sustainability goals;
- Preparing and administering project/contract documentation, including briefs, specifications, and contracts;
- Coordinating contract administration meetings with external contractors and internal service providers;
- Managing correspondence and record keeping related to administered contracts;
- Monitoring and reporting on adopted budgets for projects, services, and individual contracts;
- Liaising with relevant staff, consultants, contractors, state government agencies, and authorities as necessary;
- Staying up to date with technological, legislative, and other changes affecting the operations and responsibilities of the organization's Resource Recovery and Waste Service;
- Investigating and reporting on funding for projects related to Resource Recovery and Waste Services & asset management;
- Representing the organization at internal and external meetings and functions as required;
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to Customer Service Requests as required;
