About This Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced contracts specialist to support our business with all commercial contract-related matters and provide valuable legal and commercial guidance.

This role will collaborate across multiple departments, negotiate complex commercial contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing commercial contract negotiations, drafting commercial contracts, and reviewing privacy policies and data protection agreements to align with Australian legal and regulatory requirements.

A strong understanding of Australian contract law and its application in a commercial setting is essential for success in this role.

This is a flexible opportunity allowing you to work from home or choose how you split your time between the office and remote work. You'll have the freedom to use our office as much as you like, with a requirement to join us in our Sydney office at least one day per week.

Requirements
  • A senior Paralegal with significant experience as a contracts negotiator or a Commercial Lawyer with 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in managing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, including client and supplier agreements.
  • Strong understanding of Australian contract law and its application in a commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of Australian privacy laws and data protection regulations, with experience advising on legal risks, drafting policies, and ensuring compliance in commercial agreements.
