Job Role: Night Shift Operations Manager

The Night Shift Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the smooth running of hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring a safe and exceptional guest experience from arrival until morning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage on-duty staff to ensure efficient operation of front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance services, promoting teamwork and productivity.
  • Perform nightly audit functions, including revenue balancing and accurate record-keeping, to maintain financial integrity.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns, resolving issues efficiently and delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian Working Rights required - this role is not eligible for sponsorship.
  • Service-focused personality with a passion for working through the night, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays, and be available to work a 7-day roster, prioritizing team coverage.
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting principles, with proficiency in Opera Cloud or similar systems.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, communicating effectively and empathetically.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage conflicting priorities, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Lead by example, promote a strong team culture, and foster high performance standards.
