The role of a Strategic Property Specialist plays a vital part in supporting the management and strategic development of diverse property assets.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage leases, licences, and property transactions to support asset planning strategies
- Access flexible work arrangements, including remote work and leave schemes
- Support preparation and delivery of property portfolio strategies
- Proactively manage legal and financial issues to ensure timely resolutions
- Review property assets and contribute to long-term strategic planning with commercial and social considerations
- Develop and implement strategic property initiatives, including sales, leasebacks, and divestments
- Investigate revenue-generating opportunities within legislative frameworks
- Prepare reports, policies, and correspondence on property initiatives and transactions
- Represent owners on strata committees and ensure compliance with operational policies and regulations
- Maintain knowledge of industry developments and foster project, financial, and contract management skills within the team
About Your Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Business, Law, or a related field
- Proven experience in property management, urban planning, or similar, preferably in government roles
- Strong financial and budgeting skills, including identifying income-generating opportunities
- Proven ability to review property portfolios and deliver development strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems, with analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
- Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence
