Job Opportunity

Experienced professionals are required to fill the role of a Catering Manager in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • This position involves delivering high-quality services to clients across multiple locations.
  • The successful candidate will work on a FIFO arrangement with an 8:6 roster, flying from Perth airport.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of excellent food products.
  • Develop and implement effective menu planning, inventory management, and cost control strategies.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to HACCP principles and other relevant quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and performance evaluation.
  • Build relationships with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds accepted).
  • Proven track record in Mine Site Catering, hotel or restaurant background, or associated industry.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in staff management, with at least 5 years' experience in Chef Management.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills with client relationship management and support.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
