Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Canteen Supervisor to lead our College Canteen team, delivering exceptional customer service to students, parents, visitors, and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the canteen, ensuring a high-quality food service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the College Canteen, supervising staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain certification as a food safety supervisor.
  • Ensure adherence to the Canteen and Healthy Foods Policy.
  • Manage transactions through the QKR app.
  • Prepare and serve food for recess and lunch orders.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to maintain the menu.
  • Order food and materials as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the canteen at all times.
  • Conduct termly stock takes.
  • Maintain records for food safety compliance.
  • Provide food service to all members of the College community.
  • Ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Handle cash securely and restrict entry to authorized personnel only.
