The Role
- Head of Food Service

It’s an exciting time to join Bega Group, having just announced our 5-year strategy to focus on profitable and scalable growth and simplify our infrastructure, supply chain, and business model to create sustainable value for the future. This has given us the opportunity to redesign our business and with that comes this newly created role to lead the Food Services team. We have ambitious plans to further develop our product portfolio and capabilities to meet the needs of our customers.

**Responsibilities**:
- Sell complex, often customized products and services to significant customers- Manage key client and customer relationships.- Manage budget plans for a department.- Utilise data from a wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify- possible impacts on the business.- Oversee an operational area with guidance from senior colleagues- Implement the formal development framework for a team- Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy- Manage and report on the performance of sales team- Manage a portfolio of contracts and negotiate service level agreements- Develop functional or operational policies and help develop policy frameworks

About you- Core capabilities - strategic thinking, people leader, customer management, commercial acumen, drive for results- Experience - deep foodservice channel experience, dairy experience advantageous, passion for food / culinary experience- Proven experience in developing solutions based on a in depth knowledge of food service channel- Experience planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers- Experience and a passion for coaching and developing high performing teams- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, business development and contract negotiations- Strategic, creative thinking and strategy development- Analytical and critically evaluates data to form meaningful recommendations and plans- Exceptional communication, presenting and influencing skills
