AO3 Housing Officer

Job Summary
The AO3 Housing Officer will provide high-quality, person-centred social housing and housing assistance services to diverse clients. This includes assessing property applications and grants, conducting client interviews, and making referrals to support service agencies as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess property applications and grants
- Conduct client interviews and make referrals
- Maintain property waitlists, allocations, and vacancies
- Monitor and manage outstanding arrears, rent assessments, and pay deductions
- Manage property maintenance and conduct property inspections
- Maintain accurate client and property records and file notes
Requirements
- Customer service experience with a proven ability to build rapport and de-escalate challenging customer interactions
- Previous administration experience in an office environment
- Property management experience an advantage
- Proven experience managing work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to adapt to change and new challenges
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Availability to work 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Working Conditions
This is a temporary role with a casual hourly rate of $46.84 (plus super). The initial duration is expected to be 1-2 months, with a high likelihood of extension based on business needs.
