Senior Geologist Mining Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mine Geologist to lead and influence safe, efficient, and value-driven geological operations.

  • Lead and mentor a team of geologists and contractors to deliver daily plans while meeting operational and safety targets
  • Drive team performance by providing accurate, predictive geological models to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
  • Oversee grade control reconciliation processes (daily to annual) and enhance them where possible
  • Champion near-mine and in-mine exploration programs to support Life of Mine extension and resource growth – both RC and Diamond drilling
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of geological mapping, modelling, and reporting systems
  • Apply strategic insight and technical expertise to reduce geological risk and improve model confidence

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving safe, efficient, and data-informed geological practices. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
