The ideal candidate will provide cultural leadership across the organisation, ensuring that programs and operations are effective and efficient.

This includes managing government funding contracts, stakeholder engagement, and governance processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow primary health and wellbeing programs, ensuring cultural safety and responsiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Aboriginal health outcomes.
  • Manage and develop program staff, ensuring professional development and high performance.
  • Support governance and accountability processes, including finance and administration.
  • Collaborate with community, government, and stakeholders to advance Aboriginal health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Health Administration, Business Management or related field.
  • Extensive experience managing health programs in an Aboriginal community context.
  • Strong knowledge of government funding processes and program management.
  • Cultural leadership and ability to engage Aboriginal communities.
  • People leadership with motivation and support skills.
  • Governance, financial management, and compliance experience.
Packages
  • $130,000 - $150,000 + superannuation + salary packaging.
