Job Role: Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operational efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, and fostering a positive work environment. This key team member will be responsible for coordinating daily curbside collection operations, consulting with line management to develop operational targets, and leading by example.

  • Coordinate and schedule daily curbside collection operations to achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • Consult with line management to develop and manage operational targets;
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports, including toolbox meetings;
  • Lead performance management investigations and outcomes;

This position requires an experienced supervisor who can drive operational efficiencies within the team, continually review and improve site processes, and possess excellent people skills. Ideal candidates have a background in landfill or waste management, strong communication and leadership skills, and experience with Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and schedule daily curbside collection operations;
  2. Consult with line management on operational targets;
  3. Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports;
  4. Lead performance management investigations;

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A background in landfill or waste management;
  • Strong communication and leadership skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office;
