Lead Cyber Security Strategist

This pivotal role supports secure, business-aligned technology delivery across the organisation, enabling innovation while managing cyber risk.

  • Business Security Engagement: Lead the engagement of Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) who ensure security is embedded into business initiatives from the outset.
  • Security Program Delivery: Develop and refine a comprehensive security program to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and APRA CPS 234.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Drive awareness and training initiatives that empower employees to manage cyber risks and foster a security-first mindset.

As a collaborative leader, you will lead critical functions within the cyber security ecosystem, working closely with internal stakeholders, delivery squads, and third-party partners to align business strategy with security priorities and operational delivery.

About You
  • Senior cyber security professional with broad expertise and a track record of delivering business-aligned security outcomes.
  • 10+ years of experience in leadership roles overseeing business solutions delivery and security integration within complex, enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering secure, scalable technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity principles and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and APRA CPS 234.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical and security concepts clearly to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional certifications demonstrating dedication to security best practices and effective project leadership.
