This role involves leading advanced cyber defence and incident response initiatives. You will work alongside a high-performing team of cyber security professionals, providing operational leadership and technical expertise across threat detection, response, and tooling uplift.

You will have the opportunity to shape cyber maturity across a complex enterprise environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to operationalise security controls, uplift SOC capabilities, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include leading cyber defence and incident response operations, mentoring and guiding a team of cyber analysts, monitoring security systems and networks, investigating incidents, and implementing mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in cyber security or IT, along with certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or ITIL Practitioner. Strong experience with SIEM platforms, SPL, and threat hunting is also required.

In addition, the successful candidate will have a deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, threat modelling, and operational threat intelligence, as well as proven ability to lead incident response and vulnerability management programs.
