We are seeking a highly skilled procurement professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our upcoming event. The role will involve leading and managing strategic procurement processes, providing timely advice to stakeholders, and maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.

About the Role

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes for various types, sizes, values, and methods.
  • Provide strategic advice to internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the procurement lifecycle.
  • Assist in preparing procurement documentation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant procurement legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Engage with and manage diverse stakeholder groups - internal, external, domestic, and international.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with high-value, complex Federal Government procurement.
  • Expert knowledge of the PGPA Act.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in politically sensitive environments.
