Procurement Officer

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to fill a key role in our organization.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert advice and assurance on procurement processes and contracts.
  • Offer timely and professional responses to advice requests.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of the application of Commonwealth Government procurement frameworks.
  • Experience undertaking end-to-end procurement activities, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
  • Experience contributing to continuous improvement by updating intranet content and delivering training sessions.

Candidates will be asked to provide a statement of claims (no more than 800 words) and submit their resume, highlighting key outcomes or accomplishments in each previous role (two pages maximum).

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field such as law, commerce, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years' experience in procurement or a related field.
