Sydney Light Rail Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sydney Light Rail Operations Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent night shift position, from 10pm – 6am.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting the maintenance and cleaning of all equipment as specified in Alstom's maintenance procedures, and in accordance with specified company quality and health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining Track Infrastructure and cleaning in accordance with specified procedures.
- Litter picking and drain cleaning.
- Cleaning of drains, depot floors and track/track slab in pedestrianised zones.
- Performing the role of a Sydney Light Rail Protection Officer (SLR PO).
- Reporting daily, weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Be a team player, with a can-do attitude.
- Be able to commit to and thrive working on permanent night shifts.
- Experience in Track/Infrastructure, Maintenance or Cleaning would be preferred.
- Willingness to participate in training and development (Certificate II Rail Infrastructure).
- MR or HR Truck Licence.
